ALERT! : Car Park Safety! As a community we need to be mindful of the increase in the number electric and hybrid vehicles, leading to an increased risk of accidents occurring due to the lack of engine noise. When cars are backing out drivers should be mindful to check for cross traffic behind you, meaning pedestrians as well as other vehicles. It has been brought to our attention that EV and Hybrid vehicles are silent and due diligence should be observed by both drivers and pedestrians to avoid any unforeseen accidents

Singing Group- Next meeting for the signing group will be the 2nd of June, 3:30pm to 4:30pm. We hope to see you there!

AMUA-June Gathering is Monday, 23rd June at 10am. Eucharist in St. Peter's at 10am, followed by Morning Tea in Cooinda and a mystery program filled with love and laughter. Please bring a small plate of food to share and ask a friend to join you. Everyone is very welcome!

Quick Message from Di Thatcher - Due to our Patronal Luncheon coming up on Sunday the 6th of July, there will also be a Church Stall run after the combined service. It will be situated at the front of the church so people can browse while having morning tea, after the service. and before proceeding to Cooinda for lunch.
Volunteers would be helpful with set-up, arranging goodies, selling items, and raffle tickets on the day.
We do need keen bakers and craft makers to assist in donating and would be grateful for any types of cakes, biscuits, slices or confectionery, Jams, Chutneys, Pickles and preserves. As always, a list of ingredients will be required for each baked and cooked item. Craft items could include sewn, knitted, crocheted, cross-stitched items, cards, decorations, artwork, woodwork, etc.
We are also looking for volunteers, especially from the 7:30am Service, to join our Social and Fundraising Group to help organise upcoming activities on our Social and Fundraising Calendar, thus ensuring smooth running of each event. Any spare time you may have would be appreciated. Please contact Di Thatcher 0409 846 471 or di@thatcher.com.au for further information.

Note from Frankie about the Dinner Party for 6 - Draw was on Sunday the 25th:
Marg. Weise is the winner of the Dinner Party raffle. This project has raised $1066 for general church funds. Thanks to the generosity of our cooks and those who provide the trimmings, the only cost involved is the cost of printing tickets.
Thanks to all who have contributed in so many ways. Marg is looking forward to enjoying a lovely evening with her guests.

Bel Thomson concert follow up -  A big thank you to everyone who came along to the concert last Saturday. A great time was had by all, including many from outside our Parish. A portion of the concerts proceeds has gone towards supporting the Bush Ministry Fund (BMF)

We are still helping 'the poorest of the poor gain dignity through self-sufficiency'. We support 30 destitute widows and 60 orphans. They live in the rural areas with no running water or electricity. We sponsor a young man doing a degree in Metallurgy at Zimbabwe University, and a student at a private secondary school.

If you feel the Lord calling you to help either by prayer and/or funding, please contact me. Phone 0448 107 401, email -  timdufton@gmail.com
